The State Independent Living Council, in collaboration with the DSUs, has designated the following targeted areas as immediate priorities for the establishment of a center for independent living, should new state or federal funds become available for this purpose during the term of the 2008/2010 State Plan:
The Areas are numbered geographically, no preferences should be assumed. Accordingly, the SPIL identifies these areas as needing ILC services and are targets for future expansion; this list is not in priority order. These priority areas and remaining areas to be prioritized at future dates are:
