Consumer Input
Describe why the SILC seeks consumer input about needed services or community supports in their respective areas. Also inform the public about the SILC's commitment to remain "in touch" with consumer issues that affect their daily lives.
The SILC is commited to utilizing technolgy as a means to gather and transfer direct consumer input to its members. The SILC now offers two surveys online: (1.) the Consumer Needs Assessment Survey and (2.) the Consumer Satisfaction Survey. Consumer Needs Assessement Surveys will be used to measure the extent of unmet needs within local communities. Consumer Satisfaction Surveys will be provided to measure the quality of IL services as directed by Goal XI of the SPIL.
